Roughly 7–10 years on painted siding and 3–5 years on stained cedar, depending on sun exposure. Exterior work carries a 2-year warranty.
Should cedar be painted or stained?
Most Sierra cedar does best with a penetrating stain or oil so the wood can breathe and weather evenly. We’ll advise based on its condition.
